DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to another clients, and it also makes that piano's restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

Pleyel is known for being one of the most romantic piano builders of all time. Their instruments are known all over the world as being some of the finest pianos ever built. Throughout the firm’s history, Pleyel was an innovator and was never afraid to take risks. The firm was known for offering custom-made, custom-designed instruments, many of them being very avant-garde and shocking in appearance!

This exquisite piano is a custom built instrument done in the highly decorative Neoclassical design. The instrument is finished in brilliant gold-leaf over mahogany wood which provides a stunning canvas for the elaborately painted scenery. Note the amazing detail and vibrant color of this incredible artwork! The piano cabinet is made in an unusual shape (note the beautiful double curved design of the back) with 4 individual legs all connected by a beautifully carved gold-leaf base.

This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out. This piano is not just a beautiful piece of antique furniture; the quality of the instrument will compare to any top quality new piano. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Thousands of song titles are available.
