DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to other clients, and it also makes that piano’s restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

Description

The instrument was built by famous Rudolph Wurlitzer Company in 1916 and is one of their “Apollo” model parlor grand pianos. Prior to the Great Depression, Wurlitzer built very well made instruments. The quality and tone of these Pre-Depression Wurlitzer pianos were the instruments that made Wurlitzer a household name throughout the 20th Century.
This lovely piano was built as an extreme adaptation of The Louis XV Style which was influenced by the Baroque period in Europe centuries ago. This piano is carved in the beautiful Baroque / Country-French style and has been custom finished in a custom distressed marbleized pearl finish with aged gold and copper accents. In person, this beautiful instrument has a true palatial look and feel, making the piano well suited for the most opulent surroundings. Note the amazing detail in the carved legs, side panels, and music desk. Each individual fleur-de-lis is carved right down to the finest detail! This is a one-of-a-kind, custom piece.
This instrument has been restored to perfection inside and out. Not only is this an aesthetically beautiful piece, but it is a fine musical instrument with a full and robust tone quality. The instrument has been equipped with the Pianomation player system, allowing the piano to play by itself in addition to being played by hand the traditional way. The Pianomation plays wirelessly from an iPad, computer or smart phone, and is designed to integrate with conventional home stereo systems. Thousands of song titles are available.
An original matching piano bench is included.
