DESCRIPTION

The Steinway Model B is considered by many to be the perfect piano. The model B is the smaller of the two Steinway Concert Grand Piano sizes, and it is widely used around the world on the concert stage.

Nearly all Steinway Model B pianos were made for professional use, and most were made in the traditional black cabinet in the traditional design with square legs. This piano is one of the few Model B Steinways built in a hand carved Louis XV style cabinet which would indicate it was originally built for use in some large lavish home for an accomplished pianist. It is nearly impossible to find a Louis Style Steinway B in todays market.

This piano is made of mahogany wood which has been restored with historical accuracy. The internal mechanisms have been restored to like new condition, inside and out. This piano is concert ready.

The carved Louis XV bench is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
