This lovely piano is a rare example of superior quality 19th Century German piano building. Built by the firm of G. Heyl in about 1870, this instrument is made of exotic burl walnut wood and is of the Rococo Victorian style. Note the unusual curved top facade - a feature commonly found on Rococo furniture but rarely found on pianos! The carved grills and moldings on this piano are truly exquisite, and the instrument is overall elegant and visually stunning.
This piano is being restored to like new condition, inside and out.
An antique matching stool is included.
