This is a rare Mission upright by the Adam Schaaf Piano Company of Chicago. Built in 1907, this piano is made of handsome quarter sawn oak wood in the Craftsman style. According to its original turn-of-the-century sales catalog (see photos), this piano was sold as the "Mission Cabinet Grand" model. This piano has some of the most amazing quarter sawn oak grain we have ever seen, and it has been restored to perfection inside and out. The tone rivals any new upright piano built today. An original matching bench is included. These original Mission style upright pianos are some of the rarest and most desirable pianos in today’s market. A matching oak bench is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
