Description
Chickering was the first piano builder in America, established in 1823. Chickering is known for building some of the finest pianos in American history.
This is an unusual Art-Deco style baby piano built by the famous Chickering & Sons Piano Company of Boston. Note the beautiful mid-century design of the lid, legs and moldings. Built in 1941, this beautiful piano would have been one of the last models produced just before World War 2. The instrument is made of imported Honduran Mahogany wood and has been remarkably well preserved over the years.
This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out, and will rival any better quality new baby grand piano. A matching piano bench is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
