Beautiful Victorian Emerson Upright Piano in Red Mahogany Finish
This beautiful Victorian style piano was built by The Emerson Piano Company of Boston in 1889. Emerson was once one of the largest pianos manufacturers in America, and their pianos were known to be of exceedingly high quality.
This lovely piano is carved in a mix of mahogany, cherry and poplar woods, all finished in a deep red mahogany stain. This red mahogany color was once quite popular in Victorian pianos and furniture, and it is widely used in new furniture manufacturing today. Note the beautifully carved details on the piano, giving it a classic elegance that transcends the century.
This piano has been restored to like new condition, inside and out. The tone is of excellent quality, making the instrument sound as good as it looks.
If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc.
