The Orchestral Model was the highest grade, most expensive model square grand piano built by Mathushek
This is a superb example of the "Orchestral" model square grand piano by the Mathushek Piano Company. The "Orchestral" was the largest and most expensive model square grand piano offered by the firm. Mathushek was known for getting the largest tone out of the smallest space, so these large Orchestral square pianos sound truly amazing. Note the heavily carved scalloping around the edges of the case, as well as an ornate grilled music rack. This piano has an unusually light rosewood grain, not as dark as most square pianos we see. This piano is being restored to like new condition, inside and out. Computerized player mechainsms can be installed if desired.
