Description
Strohmenger specialized in building avant-garde case designs like Art Deco, etc., making Strohmenger one of the most desirable Mid-Century Modern pianos in today’s market
This lovely little piano was built by Strohmenger in London in 1932. This was a time when English manufacturers were still putting fine quality in the smallest baby grand pianos. Strohmenger was known for building instruments that were both aesthetically beautiful and of very good musical quality.
Measuring only 4’8” long, this piano is known as an “Apartment Grand”, ideal for those with limited space for a baby grand piano. The piano is made of beautiful book-matched burl walnut wood and is of the beautifully carved Queen-Anne style. This piano has an overall formal and elegant appearance and would be a beautiful addition to the finest interior.
This piano is currently being restored to like-new condition, inside and out. Computerized player mechanisms can be included if desired. A matching piano bench is included.
