DESCRIPTION

Steinway & Sons is known for building some of the finest pianos in history.  During the ‘teens and ‘twenties most better makers, including Steinway, had a number of their instruments equipped with the “Duo-Art” reproducing player mechanism.  The “Duo-Art” allowed the piano to come alive with real expression and dynamics, mimicking the sound of a life pianist at the keyboard.

This piano was built in 1927, the “Golden Age” of piano building in America.  The instrument is made of imported Honduran Mahogany wood and is of the classic double-leg Colonial style.  The instrument has been incredibly well preserved and is an excellent candidate for restoration.

The piano will be restored to like-new condition, both inside and out.  The instrument will be restored with the updated Pianomation Player system so that it can play wirelessly from any smart device.   Thousands of song titles are available.

A matching bench is included.
