DESCRIPTION

This beautiful Steinway & Sons square grand piano is not quite as ornately carved as most of Steinway’s square grand piano models, yet it is still considered Rococo Victorian with the cabriole leg design. The overall appearance of this piano is cleaner and more simplistic than the more ornately carved square pianos, a look that is complimented by the lavish Brazilian Rosewood finish. Much of Steinway’s reputation and fame was gained from the advances they made in square piano building during the 19th Century, and their designs and patents were used for decades. These pianos are known for their beautiful “harp-like” tone quality, and they are a joy to play and hear. A matching antique stool is included. This piano can be fitted with the computerized player mechanisms if desired.
