Rare Grand Piano By M. Steinert & Sons
M. Steinert & Sons was one of Boston’s more celebrated piano manufacturers. Throughout its history, M. Steinert & Sons remained a smaller-scale firm that built pianos of the highest quality and craftsmanship. These instruments were distributed primarily throughout the northeastern United States.
This instrument is a bit larger than a baby grand but not quite as large as a full concert grand. It is an ideal size for someone seeking a large sounding instrument without taking a great deal of space. The piano is made of imported Honduran Mahogany wood and is of the Traditional spade-leg style. It can be finished in either a brown mahogany or red mahogany finish according to a buyer’s preference. Even now, prior to restoration, the piano has a powerful tone quality that is typical for these well-made Steinert pianos. The piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out, with a historical perspective in mind.
If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system which allows the instrument to play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Thousands of song titles are available.
A matching piano bench is included.
