The Schiller brand name was the “top of the line” flagship model built and sold by the famous Cable Piano Company from 1892 – 1957. This beautiful Schiller baby grand piano was originally sold as the “Style E Super Grand” in the Colonial style. This piano was built and sold new in 1931 at the height of the Great Depression. This was a time when only a wealthy few could afford such an extravagant luxury! The piano is made of richly-figured walnut wood which gives the instrument an overall formal and elegant appearance.
This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. Because of the original light toned walnut wood, a buyer can choose to have this piano restored in any color or shade of walnut or mahogany finish. Although the instrument is technically a baby brand, it has a large, full tone quality despite its small size.
