Elegant “cottage size” square grand piano from the New England Piano Company of Boston
The New England Piano Company was a major force in piano manufacturing in Boston during the mid to late 19th Century. They were known for their elaborately carved, well-built instruments, making them a hallmark in the Victorian home of the era.
This piano is a smaller size "Cottage" square grand, a bit smaller and more delicate in appearance than larger square grand pianos. Made of now endangered Brazilian Rosewood, this piano is made in the beautiful carved Rococo style. This piano is unusual in that the Rosewood is very light in color which would give a buyer the option of going just about any shade and color of finish one would desire.
This piano is being restored to like new condition, inside and out. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
