This piano is made of richly figured Honduran Mahogany wood and is of the Louis XV carved style. During the early 20thCentury, historic period styles became very popular in furniture and interior design. The French inspired Louis XV style was one of the most popular 20thCentury revival styles. Note the elegantly carved legs, music rack and pedal lyre. These carved art-case pianos were more expensive than traditional models, and they were built in small numbers.
This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The piano can be finished in either light or dark Mahogany per the buyer’s request. After restoration, this piano will suit the most discriminating pianist.
