DESCRIPTION

This lovely piano was built by the famous Ivers & Pond Piano Company of Boston, and is made of beautifully carved mahogany wood. This piano is a bit smaller than most upright pianos, and it is considered a "Parlor Upright". These pianos were built for smaller homes and cottages of the 19th & 20th Centuries, making them ideal for homes with limited space. This piano is being restrung, refinished, and internally rebuilt. It still has its original ivory keys, which are in good condition, though they are slightly yellowed with age. It has a nice brilliant tone, which has been described as warm and soothing to listen to. It Includes matching stool. This piano can be fitted with a computerized player system if desired.
