Haines Brothers was a renowned, well respected piano maker in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. They were known for their high quality and attention to detail.
This beautiful square piano was built by the Haines Brothers Piano Company of New York several years before the Civil War. This piano was one of the highest grade, top of the line square pianos built by Haines, as demonstrated by the lavish use of Mother of Pearl inlay and exceptional carving. Note the actual keys on this piano are made of Mother of Pearl, not ivory. This piano has ornately carved legs and music stand, and is of the Rococo Victorian style. These pianos are rare antiques and their values are appreciating rapidly. An original matching piano stool is included. This piano can be equipped with a computerized player system if desired.
