This beautiful piano was built by Grovestten & Co. in about 1865. The instrument is made of Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Empire Revival Victorian style. The soft, “harp like” quality of these Civil War era square pianos is very pleasing to the ear! The instrument is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out.
The original matching piano stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
