Hallet & Davis was one of Boston’s most celebrated manufacturers. This lovely Hallet & Davis square grand piano was built circa 1843 making it quite an early example for the firm. This instrument is made of Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Empire Revival style with beautifully carved moldings and trim. Note the unusual Gothic influenced panels on either side of the keyboard.
This piano is currently undergoing restoration, and will look and play like it did when new once restoration is complete. An original matching stool is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
