Description
Antique Werner Upright Piano In Rare Greek Revival Style
The Werner Piano Company built high-quality, expensive pianos in Chicago from 1902 until The Great Depression era.
This beautiful Werner upright piano is a rare example of the early 20th Century Greek Revival style. The piano is made of beautiful imported Honduran mahogany wood under the old finish and will be quite beautiful after professional restoration. Note the large, handsome proportions of the instrument finely balanced with beautifully carved details. The piano is a large, full-size “upright grand” with the string length and soundboard area comparable to a full grand piano.
This piano is being completely restored, inside and out, with a historical perspective in mind. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Thousands of song titles are available.
