Description
John Broadwood is one of the oldest and most renowned piano makers in the world.

This beautiful piano is made of vertical cut Rosewood - note that the grain in the wood runs in a vertical pattern rather than horizontal like most American instruments. A piano this size would have been primarily used on the concert state or other public venues rather than in private homes. Imagine the concerts that would have been given on this piano over the centuries! It is made in the Empire Revival style, typical of 19th Century English grand pianos.
This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out, with all restoration work done with a historical perspective in mind. A matching antique piano bench is included.
