DESCRIPTION

This handsome piano was built by The Weber Piano Company of New York in 1874, a time when more square pianos were being built in America than upright and grand pianos combined!  This piano is a larger model with a full-size 88-note keyboard.  It is made of beautifully figured rosewood which will be quite beautiful after restoration.  This Rococo Victorian style grand piano features beautifully carved legs, music rack and pedal lyre.

This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out.  Unlike the harsh tone so often heard on new pianos, these antique square grand pianos have a softer, “harp-like” sound quality which is very pleasing to the ear. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. More than 10,000 song titles are available!
