Description
Very Rare English Made Story & Clark Victorian Upright Piano
This is a very rare English made Story & Clark upright piano from 1901. Story & Clark was one of the most prominent American makers, and they had factories in London and Berlin in addition to their Chicago factories. Pianos built in London and Berlin were generally sold in Europe, not exported into the United States. This piano was most likely exported into the United States by a previous owner many years after it was built. This piano is made of beautiful Indian Mahogany wood and is of the Eastlake Victorian style. Note the beautiful set of brass candle sconces - a typical feature on an English made upright piano. This piano is being restored to like new condition.
