Beautifully carved Louis XV grand piano by Packard Piano Company
The Packard Piano Company (a division of the famous Packard Motor Company) built high quality, expensive pianos which were generally considered “high grade” or “over built” instruments.
By the turn of the 20th century, American interior design and décor saw a huge revival in period and historical furniture styles. This led some of the industry’s better makers to introduce period “Art-Case” style pianos to their product line in order to meet the needs of period design trends. This piano was made in the French influenced Louis XV curved leg style, intricately carved in beautiful detail. The case is made of beautiful imported Honduran Mahogany wood which gives the instrument an elegant, formal appearance.
This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The instrument will have a large, full tone quality despite its small size. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Thousands of song titles are available.
A matching Louis XV style piano bench is included.
