Carved Rococo Style Krakauer Brothers Square Grand Piano In Brazilian Rosewood
This lovely square grand piano built by the Krakauer Brothers Piano Company of New York in 1873. Krakauer Brothers were known for building very well made, expensive pianos from about 1869-1980, one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive well over a century.
This piano is made of the carved Rococo Victorian style with elegantly carved cabriole legs and fretted music rack. This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The piano was originally done in a deep dark rosewood finish and can be restored back to any shade of medium or dark rosewood. This piano has a sweet, harp-like tone quality that is very pleasant to hear!
