DESCRIPTION

This handsome instrument was built by the Haines Brothers Piano Company of New York in 1924.  Established in 1851, Haines Brothers was known for building exceptionally well-built, good sounding instruments.  The firm was so successful that Haines Brothers went on to one of the few American brand names to be built for nearly a century.

This piano is made of richly-figured quarter sawn oak wood and is of the Mission style.  Due to its striking “tiger-stripe” grain and simple elegance, period Mission oak furniture has become very desirable in both Modern and Traditional décor.  This level of true craftsmanship is rarely encountered in instruments built today.

The instrument is a full-size “upright grand” which offers a tremendous tone quality.  The piano will be completely restored with historical accuracy, both inside and out.

If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music from any smart device. More than 10,000 song titles are available!
