This elaborate Victorian piano was built by The Emerson Piano Company of Boston in 1897. Emerson was once one of the largest pianos manufacturers in America, and their pianos were known to be of exceedingly high quality.
This lovely piano is made of beautiful exotic-grain book matched walnut wood and features extensively carved panels, pillars and moldings. This model was one of the highest-grade, most expensive pianos in the Emerson upright piano product line.
This piano will be restored to like new condition, inside and out. Even now, prior to restoration, the tone is of excellent quality which indicates the piano will be a superior musical instrument post restoration.
If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc.
