The Conover Piano Company was known for building exceptionally well-made pianos. The Conover brand was the premium line offered by the famous Cable Piano Company of Chicago.
This lovely piano is classic early 20th Century parlor grand, built during the “Golden Age” of American piano building. Although this piano was originally done in a mahogany finish, a previous owner had it refinisihed in a white lacquer finish. The piano can be restored back to its natural mahogany color, or can be finished in either a white or black lacquer finish if desired. This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The tone quality of a vintage Conover piano like this is sure to please the most discriminating pianist.
If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation computerized player system, allowing the piano to play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. This system has over 10,000 songs available in its music library! A matching piano bench is included.
