Steinway is said to have built some of the finest pianos in history, and this was one of their most popular upright models of the Victorian era.
This beautiful Victorian Steinway & Sons upright piano was built in 1882 at the heigh of the Victorian era in America. These late 19th Century upright pianos are considered to be the "perfected upright piano", and the design of these instruments has virtually remained unchanged to this day.
This piano is made of elegant Brazilian Rosewood, and is made in the Eastlake Victorian Style. Note the beautifully cut front panels. This piano will be restored to like new condition, and can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired. An original matching stool is included.
