Instrument Description

Schroeder & Sons (also known as Schroeder Brothers) was a small firm that built pianos and player pianos during the ”˜teens and ”˜twenties era in New York City. This piano is a typical early 20th Century player piano built by Schroeder Brothers, and it contains a “Standard” brand player action. Standard player actions are generally considered to be about the most reliable player piano actions of the early 20th Century. Underneath the old black deteriorated finish, this piano is made of lovely book-matched walnut wood, and will be stunning after total restoration. A matching bench is included.
