This is an elegantly carved upright piano built by the Poole Piano Company of Boston in 1912. During this era, Boston was home to some of the finest piano builders in the world. Poole built high quality, costly pianos from 1893-1982...nearly a century. This piano is made of stunning burl cherry wood, and it has uniquely shaped rounded sides and corners. Note the beautifully carved panels, moldings and turned legs. This piano has all indications of being a fantastic instrument after restoration. An original matching stool is included, and computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
