Brooks, J. T.
J. T. Brooks pianos were built by the large Winter Piano Company in New York during the first decades of the 20th Century. J. T. Brooks was the Vice President of the Winter & Co., and a line of upright pianos and player pianos were built under his name under special contract with the firm. J. T. Brooks pianos were essentially “Winter” pianos with a J. T. Brooks label; Winter pianos from this period were of very high quality and enjoyed a very good reputation.
