Elegant Edwardian Style Walters Upright Piano
The Walters Piano Company was a well-known New York firm which sold their pianos through Bloomingdale’s Department Stores across the country.
This piano was built by The Walters Piano Company in 1908 and is made of beautiful imported Honduran Mahogany wood in the Edwardian style. The Edwardian period (named for the reign of King Edward VII from about 1900 – 1910) was a transitional period that went from the elaborately carved Victorian style to the more stream-lined “modern” styles of the 20thCentury. Instruments from the Edwardian period offer an elegant look without being overly elaborate.
This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The tone of this high-quality full size upright piano will rival the sound of most better baby grand pianos! If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation computerized player system, allowing the piano to play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device. Over 10,000 song titles are available!
A matching mahogany piano stool is included.
