Description

The Model M was one of Steinway’s most popular parlor grand piano models of the early 20th Century era, and it was a favorite of both fine home musicians and professional pianists of the day. Even today, the Model M Steinway is one of the most desired vintage Steinway models. This piano was built in 1912, the beginning of the “Golden Age” of piano building. The original ivory keyboard has been restored and preserved and the ivory is in beautiful condition!

The piano is made of beautiful brown mahogany wood with reddish tones, and is of the traditional spade-leg style. One thing that makes this model a bit more unusual is that it has a band of elegant brass trim inlay above each of the three legs. This inlay gives the instrument an overall elegant and modern appearance. The piano has been restored and refinished to like new condition. A matching mahogany artists bench is included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
