DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to another clients, and it also makes that piano's restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

DESCRIPTION

In the early to mid 20thCentury there was a huge renaissance in historic period styles within the furniture and interior design industries. Some better piano manufactures built a limited number of “art-case” pianos that reflected these popular historic styles.

This vintage Steinway piano is a desirable “Model M” in walnut wood.  The case is of the rare carved Chippendale “Ball & Claw” style.  The “Model M” was one of Stienway’s most successful models because the “Model M” offers a large concert quality sound in an instrument small enough for the home.  n walnut wood.  These carved art-case pianos were quite a bit more expensive than the traditional models, and they were built in fewer numbers.   These instruments are quite rare today.

This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out.  The piano can be finished in either light or dark walnut per the buyer’s request.  After restoration, this piano will suit the most discriminating pianist.

If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live from any smart device.  Thousands of song titles are available.

The original matching Ball & Claw style piano bench is included.
