DESCRIPTION

Wow, what an unusual piano! This is a rare 1909 M. Schulz upright piano made of beautiful dark red mahogany wood. According to the original sales brochure (see photos), this piano was known as the Model X. What makes this piano especially exceptional is the carved life-like figures carved in the legs and upper pillars...the detail in the carved faces is just amazing! The front panel depicts musical angels which compliment the carved angels in the legs and pillars. This piano has been completely restored to perfection inside and out, and the tone quality is what one would expect from a high quality full size upright piano. An original matching stool is included. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
