DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to another clients, and it also makes that piano’s restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

DESCRIPTION

The Schriver & Sons Piano Company was built and manufactured by the prominent Brinkerhoff Piano Company of Chicago. Schriver & Sons specialized in building higher-quality, durable player pianos for home use. Their instruments are known to be of very good quality and craftsmanship.

This beautiful Schriver & Sons player piano is a typical model from the early 20th Century era. It is made of beautiful imported Honduran Mahogany wood and is of the Mission style. This piano can be finished in virtually any color or shade of Mahogany, and will be quite beautiful after the restoration process. and is made of beautiful Honduran Mahogany wood.

This piano originally operated by inserting a perforated paper roll and pumping the large foot pedals underneath the keyboard. An electric motor can be added to the instrument so that the piano can be played both automatically or still manually pumped. This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out, and has all the indications of being a very fine instrument. The original matching mahogany piano bench is included.
