DESCRIPTION

This exquisite Schiller baby grand piano was built by the famous Cable Piano Company of Chicago. Schiller built very well made, expensive pianos from about 1892-1957. What makes this piano so amazing is the fact that it was built in 1933, right at the height of the Great Depression. Only a wealthy few could afford this kind of luxury during the Great Depression. One can only imagine the kind of life this piano has seen! It is made of stunning Circassian English Walnut, and is carved in the lavish Italian Florentine style. Note the triple pedestal style carved legs, carved music rack and pedal lyre…even the original bench is elaborately carved! This piano has been restored to perfect condition inside and out, and has been done so to historically accurate specifications. The tone and touch of this piano will rival any quality new baby grand piano. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
