DESCRIPTION

This is an unusual Federal Style upright piano built by the Poole Piano Company of Boston in 1914. Note the beautiful ornamentation along the top of the front panel. During this era, Boston was home to some of the finest piano builders in the world. Poole built high quality, costly pianos from 1893-1982...nearly a century. This piano is made of stunning mahogany wood which is hidden underneath the old white paint. Even now, prior to restoration, it has a very strong and resonate tone quality. This piano has all indications of being a fantastic instrument after restoration. An original matching stool is included, and computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
