This lovely baby grand piano was built by the prestigious Paul G. Mehlin Piano Company in 1913.  Instruments built by Mehlin are known to be of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

The Louis XV style is one of the most beautiful classic furniture styles ever produced. The style evolved during the reign of King Louis XV of France during the early 18th Century. Once considered a sign of wealth and extravagance, the Louis XV style has evolved into one of the most elegant and beautiful styles ever produced. The Louis XV style is simply timeless, and it is as popular today as it was centuries ago.

Still today, the Louis XV style is generally found on only the finest and most expensive furniture. The Louis XV style requires taking a hard piece of wood and turning it into a beautiful and delicate object, often requiring extensive turning, bending and carving. Because of the immense amount of skill, time and labor involved in wood turning, bending and carving, it stands to reason that only the finest pianos would be made in the Louis XV style.

This stunning parlor grand piano was built by the prestigious Paul G. Mehlin Piano Company in 1914. At the turn-of-the-century, Mehlin was considered to be one of the most progressive and advanced piano builders in America, and their pianos were very expensive. This piano is a bit larger than a typical baby grand, but not quite as large as a full grand - a size commonly known as a "Living Room Grand". The piano has an exquisite mahogany wood grain and is exquisitely carved in the elegant Louis XV style. Note the amazing detail on the carved legs, music rack, and along the bottom of the case. Pianos of this caliber were the highest grade, most expensive pianos available and they are in high demand today.

This piano will be restored to like new condition, both inside and out, with a historical perspective in mind.  The piano can be restored in a brown or red mahogany finish, or even a custom black finish if desired.  The touch of the piano is very light and responsive, and the tone quality is incredible.

If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system and can play by itself by streaming music on any smart device.  Thousands of song titles are available.

A matching piano bench is included.
