DESCRIPTION

The firm of Newman Brothers was one of Chicago’s older and more prestigious manufacturers of pianos and organs. Instruments built by Newman Brothers were generally quite elaborate and very well made.
This piano was built by Newman Brothers in 1914 and is made of beautiful imported Honduran Mahogany wood. The piano was originally sold as “Style 12 Colonial Design”. Note the beautifully carved pillars, trusses and moldings which give this piano a classical, formal appearance. The tone of this high-quality full size upright piano will rival the sound of most better baby grand pianos!
This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
