DEPOSITS: The restoration of this instrument has not been completed. A 30% deposit is required on instruments pending restoration. This deposit holds the instrument and keeps it from being offered to another clients, and it also makes that piano's restoration a priority. Once we complete the restoration, we invite the client to visit our shop to see and hear the piano. If the client is unable to visit our shop, we will send professional photos and videos of the piano for review. The client then has the option of paying the balance and purchasing the piano, transferring their balance to another piano in our shop, or getting a full refund for their deposit. The client is never at risk.

DESCRIPTION

This lovely instrument was built by the Lyon & Healy Piano Company as the “Boudior” model upright piano. Lyon & Healy built exceptional pianos from 1880-1985, one of the few American Piano Companies to survive well over a century. Lyon & Healy is also known for building the world’s premier concert harps.

This model is also offen referred to as a “Cottage Upright” because of its diminutive size. It has 75 keys rather than 88 keys, and was built during a time where the standard 88 note keyboard was not yet standard. This piano is about 12″ smaller left to right than an ordinary upright piano, making it ideal for someone with limited space. Although it is a small piano, it has a big sound that will surprise you.

This piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. Thousands of song titles are available.
