DESCRIPTION

This beautiful Lindenberg player piano was built by the Columbus Piano Company of Columbus, Ohio in 1920.  Although Lindenberg built pianos from about 1905 until 1928, their pianos are a bit rare today.

This piano is made of beautiful “tiger-stripe” quarter sawn oak wood and is of the desirable Mission style.  Even the interior mechanisms of the piano are made of quarter sawn oak wood, indicating this was a high-grade, top of the line model.

This piano was originally built as a pneumatically operated player piano, but a buyer has the choice of having it restored with the original mechanisms or being equipped with the computerized Pianomation player system ( https://antiquepianoshop.com/restoration-packages/qrs-pianomation-player-installation/)  The Pianomation player system allows the piano to play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc.  Thousands of song titles are available!

A matching quarter sawn oak piano bench is included.
