Beautiful Lighte & Ernst Upright Piano in Brazilian Rosewood
Lighte & Ernst began building primarily square grand pianos in New York in about 1865. Upright pianos by Lighte & Ernst are quite rare because the upright piano didn’t become popular until about 1875, just a few short years before Lighte & Ernst went out of business. This piano is made of beautiful Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Victorian style. Note the delicately carved fretwork and beautifully carved legs & molding. This piano will be beautiful after restoration! Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
