Louis XV carved grand pianos over about 5'4" long are a bit uncommon. This is full size 6 foot parlor grand, highly carved in the elegant Louis XV style. Kranich & Bach built high quality, expensive pianos from about 1864-1981...one of the few American piano manufacturers to survive well over a century. This piano is made of breathtaking Honduras Mahogany wood, and boasts beautifully carved legs and scalloping along the entire case. Note the beautifully inlaid marquetry design on the top of the lid which depicts several beautiful woods in the shape of musical instruments.

This piano is has been lovingly restored to like new condition, and is done in a historically correct deep red mahogany finish.  The piano has been equipped with the Pianomation player system which allows the piano to play by itself from any streaming smart device without altering the manual playability in any way.  Over 10,000 song titles are available!

TECHNICAL NOTE: It is true that Kranich & Bach had a unique patented action design during the early 20th Century which is obsolete today. Most conventional piano tuners do not know how to properly adjust these unique piano actions, and their parts are difficult to find. Sadly, some piano tuners will scare a would be buyer away from investing in a beautiful Kranich & Bach piano. These pianos are of amazing quality and tone and are terribly misunderstood by most conventional piano tuners.  Restoration will include installing a modern-style traditional action so anyone can service it.
