Square Grand Piano by William Knabe & Company of Baltimore
William Knabe & Company was one of the finest piano builders in American history. Knabe was the official piano of the Metropolitan Opera and was knowns for its sweet yet robust tone quality which was ideal for vocal accompaniment.
This lovely Knabe square grand was built in 1880 which makes it a later and more evolved instrument. It is made of beautifully carved Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Rococo Victorian style with lovely Cabriole legs, carved moldings and fret-work music rack. This piano is being restored to like-new condition, inside and out.
Both of the lovely piano stools in the photos are included with this piano. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired.
