Description

Before the Great Depression, Kimball was one of, if not the largest piano builders in America. It was these pianos that made Kimball famous. The quality of these depression-era pianos was responsible for giving Kimball their good reputation, eventually making Kimball an American household name.

According to its original sales catalog (see photos), this piano was sold as “Style 20”. This piano is a rare larger parlor grand size piano by Kimball, measuring 6’4” long. It is made in the Empire Revival Victorian Style, and is made of beautiful mahogany wood. It has a lot of unique character with it’s beautifully turned legs and fretted music rack. The tone of this piano is substantial, easily rivaling any new large piano built today. This piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired. A matching bench is included.
