This is a beautiful baby grand piano built by the famous W.W. Kimball Piano Company of Chicago in 1928, the “Golden Age” of piano building in America. During this era, American interior design and décor saw a huge revival in period and historical furniture styles. This piano is made in the carved Louis XVI style, boasting 6 carved legs which give the instrument an overall sense of formal elegance. You simply cannot buy a new piano like this!
Even prior to restoration, this Kimball has a surprising tone for such a small piano. The piano will be restored to like-new condition, inside and out. The original matching bench, with matching Louis XVI style carved legs and moldings, is included.
If desired, this piano can be equipped with the Pianomation player system which will allow the instrument play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. Thousands of song titles are available.
