DESCRIPTION

This is a beautiful and unusual Jacobean Gothic style baby grand piano built by the famous W.W. Kimball Piano Company of Chicago in 1929. This piano is very small, measuring only 4'8" long. It is made of beautifully carved English Walnut. It boasts 6 carved legs which are joined with beautifully detailed rope moldings and iron rods, and heavy beaded trim all around the case. This piano would have most likely been custom ordered to suit the original owner's decor. In person, the piano has a medieval feel to its appearance. You simply cannot buy a new piano like this! This Kimball has a surprising tone for such a small piano, and it has a very pleasing tone. It has the original matching stool which also has the Jacobean legs with rope molding. This piano can be equipped with the computerized player mechanisms if desired.
