Description

This is a rare and early full Concert Grand Piano from the famous Broadwood Piano Company of London. These instruments were once quite popular in Europe, but they are a bit scarce here in the United States. This beautiful piano is made of vertical cut Rosewood – note that the grain in the wood runs in a vertical pattern rather than horizontal like most American instruments. A piano this size would have been primarily used on the concert state or other public venues rather than in private homes. Imagine the concerts that would have been given on this piano over the centuries! It is made in the Empire Revival style, typical of 19th Century English grand pianos.
This piano has been equipped with the Pianomation player system, and can play by itself by streaming music live on an iPod, computer, iPad, etc. This piano have over 6,000 songs available in its music library!
